Building virtualized environment to securely access Internet banking applications
After my research on online banking threats, I concluded that majority of online banking users are using their own PC to access it and most of them dont even realize the risk of it. That risk, in most cases, lies in using Windows operating system, downloading and executing unknown files or allowing access to unknown Java applets.
So, for my bachelors thesis I chose to build virtualized environment to securely access Internet banking applications. As a part of that, I will analyze virtualization options, existing threats and how much can this solution help in preventing them.
The idea is that user would end up with USB flash drive containing this environment so that it is portable and easy to use on all users PCs.
