Current Device Comparison Benchmarks
With a number of devices at hand at the moment, I thought I would do a few tests to compare devices & their SoCs.
The players in this test are:
Xiaomi Redmi 3 - Snapdragon 616 - 4 x 1.5Ghz A53 + 4 x 1.2Ghz A53. Adreno 405
Sony Z1 Compact - Snapdragon 800 - 4 x 2.2Ghz Krait 400. Adreno 330
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - MTK Helio X10 - 8 x 2.0Ghz A53. PowerVR G6200
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Snapdragon 805 - 4 x 2.7Ghz Krait 450. Adreno 420
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro - Snapdragon 650 - 2 x 1.8Ghz A72 + 4 x 1.4Ghz A53. Adreno 510
Xiaomi Mi 5 (64GB) - Snapdragon 820 - 2 x 1.8Ghz Kryo + 2 x 1.36Ghz Kryo. Adreno 530
The above list, like all graphs below, is ordered from the lowest Antutu score to the highest.

Observations
1. The older high-end SoCs (SD800 & SD805) have particularly strong GPUs, in comparison with the newer mid-range devices.
2. The Snapdragon 820 in the Mi 5 is a beast of an SoC, both CPU and GPU wise. The Single thread performance is around 50% faster than the A72 in the SD650 and the GPU performance is around double that of the next best (SD805)
3. The PowerVR G6200 in the Mediatek SoC is much weaker than the CPU side, although still better than the competing SD616.
4. While the CPU side of the SD650 in the Redmi Note 3 Pro is excellent, the GPU still trails that of the older, but higher end, SD805.
